ETSU Bucs men’s basketball team heads to SoCon Championship

The East Tennessee State University Buc’s men’s basketball team defeated the Western Carolina Catamounts 69-67 in the first SoCon semi-finals game Sunday afternoon in Asheville. It was a difficult win as the Bucs had to comeback after being down as many as 17 points in the second half, but then went on a 12-2 scoring spree in the final three minutes to clinch the win. ETSU takes on Furman, Monday. Tip-off for the championship game is at 7 p.m. at the Harrah’s Cherokee Center in Asheville.
