Lebanon High teacher dies from injuries in home construction accident
Faculty and students are in mourning at Lebanon High School following the death of coach and FBLA sponsor Travis Hooker.
A statement posted on social media from the school said Hooker died from injuries sustained from a fall that occurred while working on a deck at his home.
Hooker was a 2-time cross country state champion at Lebanon as an athlete and coached that team during his educational career along with girls basketball.
“Travis was very invested in our students and athletes as he pushed them to excel beyond their expectations of themselves. Please keep LHS and his family in your thoughts and prayers,” said a portion of the school statement.
