King College Road residential rezoning moves forward in Bristol TN
A rezoning request in Bristol, TN was voted on by the city council Tuesday evening that would rezone 153 acres along King College Road for a future residential development. Multiple Bristol residents spoke out against the request citing geological issues and a massive increase in traffic on the two lane roadways in the area. The city council unanimously voted to pass the current resolution, which allows multiple studies to be done, such as infrastructure and traffic studies. City leaders say the infrastructure concerns are up to the developer to decide what the better option is. A second vote will be held during the council’s May 5 meeting and if approved, the rezoning will become effective 17 days after the approval.
