Investigation underway after deadly shooting in parking lot at Dolly Parton’s Stampede in Pigeon Forge
An investigation is underway after a man was fatally injured by a handgun that discharged in the parking lot at Dolly Parton’s Stampede in Pigeon Forge Saturday evening. Pigeon Forge Police responded to Dolly Parton’s Stampede around 7:35 p.m. after a 911 call reported a gunshot. When the officers arrived, they found two men inside a vehicle. One man said he had a handgun and it discharged, striking the other man. The victim was taken to LeConte Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead. Pigeon Forge Police said the investigation into the shooting is underway.
