2 juveniles arrested for recent vehicle break-ins around Colonial Heights
The Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office reports that two 14-year-old males were charged in connection with recent burglary, theft, and vandalism incidents in the Colonial Heights area. Those crimes occurred between April 24 and 27. The sheriff’s office said multiple reports of vehicles being entered with cash, wallets and bank cards being stolen. Some vehicles were also damaged by the suspects breaking into them. On April 27, the SCSO responded to a vehicle theft that was in progress and fter a short pursuit, the first juvenile was taken into custody. The second juvenile was identified, located and taken into custody, as well. A dirt bike that the suspects used was recovered, along with stolen property from multiple victims. The juveniles have been charged in juvenile court with vehicle theft, burglary, vandalism and fraud.
