Abingdon Police request public help identifying robbery suspect

The Abingdon Police Department is requesting the public’s help with an armed robbery. The Abingdon Police Department received a report of an armed robbery of a convenience store in the 600 block of Cummings Street around 10:30 p.m. Friday evening. Authorities say, the suspect left the scene on foot and was last seen traveling west. The suspect entered the store, displayed a weapon, and demanded money. The suspect was wearing black pants, a black hoodie, sunglasses, and white shoes. Anyone with information is asked to call Abingdon Police.
