Bristol Rhythm AFC loses NPSL Championship to El Farolito
After an unforgettable season, Bristol Rhythm AFC fans rolled into Gene Malcolm Stadium one more time for the NPSL National Championship Game against El Farolito. Neither team scored in the first half with 0-0 tie going into the break. El Farolito pulled away after half, taking the NPSL National Championship Game 3-0, which is their second championship in 3 years. After the game, Diane Smith, Bristol Rhythm AFC owner and general manager said that even though the loss stings, it was still an unbelievable season and one that they hope to build on next season.
