Washington County investigators need ID for burglary suspects

Investigators in Washington County, Virginia are trying to track down to burglary suspects who raided a Lee Highway convenience store early Friday.

A Sheriff’s Office report said deputies were sent to the Scotchman at 16074 Lee Highway after 2 a.m. following the trigger of the location’s alarm system.

The preliminary review says the two male suspects were able to gain access with forced entry into the rear of the store. The men had already fled the scene once officers arrived.

Anyone who can identify the suspects from the surveillance photos captured during the burglary can call their local police or the Washington County Sheriff’s Office at (276) 676-6000.
