Parents of Saylor Hayes back in South Carolina to face charges
Multiple published reports say John and Geordyn Hayes are back in South Carolina after waving their extradition during a court hearing in Carter County, Tennessee.
The couple had been instructed to stay in the state following the death of their 5-year-old non-verbal, autistic daughter Saylor, and after the Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office placed charges against the two, accusing them of putting Saylor at risk while staying on Pawley’s Island.
The duo was arrested Wednesday at a family member’s home in East Tennessee and had their court hearings on Thursday.
