ETSU’s Reece Museum showcases early life in the Appalachian Mountains
East Tennessee State University’s Reece Museum just opened six new exhibits that focus on the people, places and traditions that have shaped life in the Appalachian mountains. The exhibits looke at several aspects of the region’s history and culture and include displays that examine life on the Tennessee frontier and the legacy of old-time music. Reece Museum officials said the exhibits help keep Appalachian stories alive for future generations.
