Father of Saylor Hayes charged after fight with cellmate in South Carolina
The father of Bristol’s Saylor Hayes, the child that was found dead in the water at Pawley’s Island, SC, has had a new charge added to his record.
A spokesperson for the Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office said John Hayes and a cellmate were both charged after the two assaulted each other during an in-cell altercation. Hayes reportedly struck 34-year-old James Bradley, who is charged with homicide by child abuse. Hayes was issued an $1087 bond although his bond related to Saylor’s case had been revoked.
Hayes and his wife Geordyn are both charged with abandoning their toddler, a non-verbal 5 year old autistic who went missing for nearly 24 hours until she was found near the couple’s vacation home.
