Nursing center at ETSU named for former honors student
An education aid facility that has already assisted more than 200 nursing students at ETSU received its new title as the Jessica Colter Academic Student Success Center.
Colter was a nursing honors student in Johnson City who died in an automobile crash in December of 2020.
Her legacy continues with the center in Nicks Hall that President Brian Noland says is already making a difference with students in the program. A scholarship is also named in Jessica’s honor that benefits students from Greene, Washington, and Benton counties that pursue degrees in the medical field.
