JC annual fall leaf collection to begin October 26

The City of Johnson City’s annual fall leaf collection officially kicks off next Monday, October 26th. City crews will be using multiple vacuum trucks to cycle through local neighborhoods, promising at least three full pickup rounds for every resident between now and December 18th. To make sure your yard waste gets collected, city officials ask that you do not bag your leaves. Instead, rake them into piles placed directly behind the curb. Be sure to keep leaf piles out of the street, sidewalk, and alleyways. Additionally, crews will skip over any piles that contain trash, limbs, or brush debris.
