Two Men in Jail After Robbing Local Dollar General
The Bristol Tennessee Police Department has two men in custody after they allegedly robbed the Dollar General on the Bluff City Highway.
According to the report. One of the men approached the cash register and when the clerk opened up the drawer he shoved them out of the way and took money from the register.
The clerk provided officers with a description of the men’s clothing and vehicle. A search of the area quickly located a vehicle matching the description. They found the vehicle occupied by James Bell and Michael B. Willis. Bell, the passenger was determined to fit the description of the man accused of committing the robbery. Willis, the driver, quickly tried to dispose of the cash taken during the heist but was stopped by officers.
Both men are facing multiple charges including robbery. They’re being held in the Sullivan County Jail on $50,000 bonds.
