TVA Expenditures in Question

The Tennessee Valley Authority’s Inspector General has released a report finding no justifications in the purchase of two luxury jets costing $17.7 million by the agency. The purchase of a King Air Turbo Prop and a Citation XLS jet could not be supported by the proper paperwork. The report comes after an audit which examined aircraft used by other utilities for similar travels.
