Local Sex Sting Operation Concludes With Nearly Four Hundred Home Visits

Nearly four hundred surprise home visits to convicted sex offenders were conducted recently as part of a huge multi day sting operation in East Tennessee. Operation Clean Sweep just concluded and Tennessee Department of Corrections officials were busy making surprise visits to the homes of convicted sex offenders to check and see if they are following the rules of their probation sentence. 385 home visits were conducted…fifty in the Tri Cities where only six minor violations were handed out.
