Police Search for Shooting Suspect in Washington County, Va.

Police have identified a suspect in a shooting that left one person in critical condition in Washington County, Virginia. Roger Melvin Tackett, 44, of Clintwood is considered to be armed and dangerous. Authorities are seeking multiple warrants and are actively searching the area of the shooting that occurred on Lime Hill Road. Valley Institute Elementary School has been placed on a soft lock down as a result of the incident. Anyone with information is urged to contact authorities.
