Drowning Victim Recovered From Carter County Waterfall

The body of a drowning victim has been recovered from a Carter County waterfall. Search crews found the body of the unidentified 25 year old man just after seven pm Monday at Twisting Falls near Poga Road in Carter Coounty. Witnesses say the man, who was with his family visiting from out of state jumped into the water just after two thirty Monday afternoon and briefly resurfaced before being pulled back under water by the waterfall’s strong current.
