Carter Commissioners Looking At Potential Development At Watauga Lake

Carter County commissioners are planning for future development along a section of Watauga Lake in Butler, Tennessee. Commissioners approved conceptual plans for a 130 acre resort, that the developer says could bring more than five hundred jobs to the area. The resort would be built in the Cover Ridge area of Butler. The first phase of development would include a 20 room inn, restaurant and event space the developer hopes to have open by early 2020.
