Woman Arrested After Trying To Obtain Driver’s License Fraudulently

A woman in Johnson City who submitted a complete application to Department of Motor Vehicles employees using someone else’s identity has been arrested on identity theft and forgery charges. Johnson City Police arrested 34 year old April D. Britt after officers responded to 4717 Lake Park Drive, where they discovered Britt, trying to obtain the fraudulent driver’s license. Following an investigation Britt was also found to be in possession of unlawful drug paraphernalia. Britt was set for arraignment Wednesday and was being held on a 26 thousand dollar bond.
