UPDATE: Two suspects accused of kidnapping, beating man in Carter Co. in 2019 plead guilty to charges

Two of four suspects accused of beating a man and holding him against his will for several days in May of 2019 in Carter County have pleaded guilty to kidnapping charges.

Blake Adams and Brandon Kempson entered a guilty plea Friday, while other charges they faced including attempted first degree murder were dismissed. The two were sentenced to ten years in prison.

Amy Campbell and Angela Hudson still have active cases as both will be back in Carter County court on Feb. 22.
