Bristol Va. downtown traffic change next week

A new Traffic change will be implemented beginning next week in downtown Bristol, Virginia. According to the City, the intersection of Piedmont Avenue and Cumberland Street will be converted from a signalized intersection to an all-way stop. The work is scheduled to start early on Wednesday, Feb. 14. New signage will be placed at the intersection, and the red signals will be flashing in all four directions. Downtown Bristol drivers are urged to be aware of the new change and use caution.
