State Lawmakers Approve Judgeships in Southwest Virginia

State lawmakers have approved several judgeship positions across Southwest Virginia. One of those is the juvenile and domestic relations judge in the 28th district. That’s the position formerly held by Kurt Pomrenke. Richard S. Buddington will replace Pomrenke after he was found guilty in September on Federal Contempt of Court Charges. Other Judges approved include Marcus McClung for juvenile and domestic relations judgeship in the 30th district, Brian Patton as circuit court judge in the 29th district, and Ron Elkins for Juvenile and Domestic Relations in the 30th district
