Former Clerk Who Resigned Over Sex Discrimination Lawsuit…Running For Clerk Again
A previously settled sex discrimination lawsuit against a former Greene County Clerk has cost taxpayers more than 250 thousand dollars. Former Clerk David Thompson, who resigned amid the allegations of sexual discrimination and harrassment cost taxpayers 160 thousand dollars in court costs plus a 100 thousand dollars in settlement fees. Thompson held the post till he resigned in 2014 and has announced he is running for clerk again in Greene County.
