Ballad Health to Layoff 150 Employees

Ballad Health is in the process of laying off 150 employees. The news comes in an email from CEO Alan Levine to employees shortly before lunch on Tuesday. Some of those impacted may not even know about the pending cutbacks. Levine went on to say,”Our goal is to treat every team member leaving with dignity and respect, and that they will do there best to ease the transition for those being displaced.” Ballad health reports that some who may be eliminated are senior-level executives, middle management, front line team members and other heavier staffed positions. The organization equates the loss to about 1% of it’s workforce, none of which include administrative supprt positions.
