Two Men Arrested for Attempting to Solicit Sex from a Minor on Social Media

Two men are behind bars for seperate incidents after they were going to meet a child for sex, but found Bristol police waiting for them instead.

According to the report 36-year-old Rodney Kennedy and 26-year-old Abe Slates used Social Media platforms to converse with the officers they thought to be children. Both suspects expressed desire to have various forms of sex with the child. When they arrived they found detectives waiting for them.

Both men are being held in the Bristol Virginia City Jail without bond.
