Southwest Virginia Doctor Convicted Of More Than 60 Counts Of Drug Offenses

A southwest Virginia doctor is convicted of more than 6o counts of drug offenses and other charges. Authorities say 65 year old Dr. Dwight Bailey of Lebanon, Virginia is convicted on all 63 counts against him. Prosecutors say Bailey prescribed drugs to patients at his two rural Southwest Virginia doctors offices who were clearly already abusing and misusing the drugs. Dr. Bailey will be sentenced in January.
