Bristol Va Police and DEA Find Drugs, Weapons….Arrest Two
A search warrant leads to a large drug and weapons bust at a Bristol, Virginia home.
On Wednesday, the Bristol Virginia Police Department along with the DEA executed the search and found nearly an ounce of methamphetamine, a half-ounce of heroin, over $4,000 in cash, and 22 firearms. Police say the drugs have a street value of around $4,200.
Officers arrested suspect 43-year-old Earl McCoy and charged him possession of 28 grams or more of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, possession of a schedule 1 or 2 drug with intent to distribute, and possession of a firearm while in possession of a schedule 1 or 2 drug with the intent to distribute.
In addition, 19-year old Lauren Smith was arrested on an outstanding warrant out of Abingdon, Virginia.
McCoy is being held without bond and Smith was released on an unsecure bond.
