VCEDA Grants Headed To Southwest Virginia Businesses

18 new businesses in Southwest Virginia, expected to create more than 700 thousand dollars in private investments and 135 full time and part time jobs is receiving nearly 800 thousand dollars in grants to further boost their businesses. The Virginia Coalfield Economic Development Authority has approved the grants for eighteen new and existing businesses in Wise, Scott, Lee Dickenson, Russell and Tazewell Counties and Norton. Each grant matches dollar for dollar funding from the businesses
