Elizabethton Woman Sentenced To Ten Years On Meth Charges
An Elizabethton Tennessee woman is sentenced to ten years in prison after pleading guilty of possession of methamphetamine with intent to sell or deliver. 38 year old Lindsey Rebecca Shepard of 124 Wilson Avenue in Elizabethton entered the plea in Carter County Criminal Court on Monday. Shepard’s charge came after a search warrant conducted by drug agents with the Elizabethton Police Department in April of 2019. Shepard was found trying to hide 14 grams of the illegal drug during the search. She will not be eligible for parole until serving 30 percent of her ten year sentence.
