Teachers Working From Home To Still Get Paid

All staff members in the Bristol Tennessee School System, which remains closed will be paid during the extended school closures related to COVID-19 so long as staff are teleworking or working on site. Meanwhile, hourly staff deemed essential for community services will be compensated by paying those employees an additional stipend of up to ten dollars per hour worked while serving in the critical support roles. The Bristol Tennessee School Board meets electronically Wednesday to approve a resolution for paying staff during the extended school closures due to COVID-19.
