Tennessee State Parks To Remain Closed Till Further Notice
The Tennessee State Parks is extending the closure of all 56 state parks until further notice. The parks were closed recently until April 14 due to the COVID-19 health crisis. But park officials are announcing the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation will continue to monitor health and safety guidance related to COVID-19. The parks were closed as officials saw staggering increases in visitor traffic, including from out of state visitors and the decision was made to close the parks in the interest of safety for everyone.
