Tennessee Economic Recovery Group Updates Guidance For Close Contact Businesses And Large Events

Tennessee Governor Bill Lee continues to advance the reopening of the state’s economy and on Thursday announced more updates for guidance for close contact businesses, exercise and recreation as well as community events guidance. Governor Lee says close contact services, exercise and recreational facilities are now focusing on social distancing measures rather than strict capacity limits. The Tennessee Economic Recovery Group also expanded guidance for attractions and large venues to include recommendations for large community events such as fairs and festivals with measures to encourage social distancing, reduce occupancy and crowd density and the use of face coverings.
