NEW: Thunder Valley Nationals at Bristol Dragway returns, this time as part of NHRA playoffs

The National Hot Rod Association announced Wednesday the addition of the Thunder Valley Nationals at Bristol Dragway to their 2021 schedule.

The event that had been a Father’s Day weekend staple for years will move to the fall as part of the NHRA Countdown to the Championship playoffs from Oct. 15-17.

This will be the 20th edition of the event at the historic strip.
