Slammedenuff car show will not be welcomed back to Sevierville

Sevierville Mayor Robert Fox said Monday that the Slammedenuff car show will not be welcomed back to the city after the final day of the event was canceled over the weekend. Fox said Monday during a meeting of the Board of Mayor and Aldermen that the two-day event, which was held at the Sevierville Convention Center, would not be welcomed back in 2026. The city canceled the final day of the event citing numerous disturbances, safety concerns, and a significant strain on county-wide public resources.
