TBI: Family members charged with selling fentanyl, providing fatal dose
Three members of a family in Hancock County are accused of drug distribution with one member charged with supplying a Sneedville man with a lethal dose of fentanyl.
The TBI report said Kwade Alder, 29, Toby Alder, 56, and Halyn Alder, 28 were indicted by a grand jury on multiple drug charges with Kwade given an additional charge of second degree murder.
The case is based on the death of 32-year-old Sloane Holt who was found dead in the front yard of his home in December 2024. The Alders were all arrested and charged by the Sheriff’s Office last week.
