Bristol break-in suspect booked without bond

Police in Bristol, Virginia have pinned a series of vehicle break-ins and the theft of an SUV earlier this month on a suspect out of North Carolina.

Hunter Kersey, 23, is charged with grand larceny in connection to personal items and cash being removed from vehicles in Bristol neighborhoods including Hill Park Drive.

The city report said surveillance footage caught Kersey in the act of stealing other vehicles and removing valuables. He was being held without bond at the regional jail in Abingdon.
