Deputy injured in North Roan Street crash

A Washington County, Tennessee Sheriff’s deputy is recovering after his patrol vehicle was struck from behind in a Sunday crash.

According to Sheriff Keith Sexton, the officer was out directing traffic on North Roan Street with blue lights on when the truck was hit with the deputy inside.

Sexton said the officer and the two people in the other vehicle was transported to a hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
