Multi-service project for dogs planned for Greene County
An eco-tourism project planned around canines has been given approval from planning commission members in Greene County.
The non profit Piper Foundation presented the proposal for their 300 acre campus that will provide a vacation spot for sheep dogs and similar breeds and their owners along with serving low income families with pet supplies and vet care, among other services.
It will also serve as a safe spot for dogs that have been placed in rescue situations and offer overnight accommodations with cabins and campsites.
Stillhouse Ridge is the proposed name for the property located in Baileyton.
