Bristol VA FD fight early Wednesday morning house fire

The Bristol Virginia Fire Department reports that its crews worked a structure fire Wednesday morning on Court Drive. Firefighters arrived on scene just before 5 a.m. Wednesday to find an unoccupied house that is believed to be abandoned engulfed in flames. Crews worked through heavy smoke and widespread fire throughout the home to extinguish the blaze. Fire officials said the cause of the fire remains under investigation and no injuries were reported.
