Two injured when vehicle drives into Gate City Highway convenience store

Two people required emergency care after a Jeep drove into a convenience store in Bristol, Virginia on Wednesday afternoon.

The preliminary report from the Bristol Virginia Fire Department says the driver of the vehicle suffered a medical emergency and lost control of the vehicle while traveling on Gate City Highway.

The impact of the crash resulted in a cashier employed at the store being injured, then both individuals were transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
