Tennessee Titans release Jordan Elliot after gun incident
The Tennessee Titans have abruptly released defensive tackle Jordan Elliott. The transaction follows a dispute at last Thursday’s practice where Elliott allegedly retrieved a firearm from his vehicle in the players’ parking lot. Teammates successfully de-escalated the situation, and no one was injured. Head coach Robert Saleh called the incident a “terrible lapse in judgment” and a “call for help,” defending Elliott’s overall character to other NFL teams. Elliott was only five games into a two-year, eight-million-dollar contract.
