Potential rain changes schedule for Thunder Valley Nationals

Anticipated rains are already clashing with festivities at Bristol Dragway and this weekend’s Super Grip NHRA Thunder Valley Nationals. Organizers are bumping up Friday qualifying for all series beginning with Pro Stock and Pro Stock Motorcycle at 3pm and a 4 pm start for Funny Car and Top Fuel runs. It’s the 50th anniversary of partnership between the NHRA and Bristol Dragway. The Bristol Spring Nationals had its first run in 1965 and was considered one of the triple crown events for drivers along with the US and Winter Nationals.
