Meadowview task force has 2nd meeting

The MeadowView task force met a second time Thursday night to discuss goals concerning the MeadowView Conference Resort and Convention Center. The task force was created to evaluate the historical uses of the MeadowView and assist the property in financial endeavors. The Tuesday night presentations included a history of Eastman and the City of Kingsport’s involvement with MeadowView and what the property has been used for. A presentation on the center’s strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats was given in order to show gaps and places for growth. The task force will meet again on March 12th.
