More than 1$ million in upgrades underway at Kinser Park in Greeneville

Three significant federal and state-funded upgrades totaling more than $1 million are underway at Kinser Park. The Greene County Commission acquired both state and federal funding grants to fund the new upgrades. Construction started in July. The three upgrades include a new ADA-accessible playground, a new bath house to replace the ones damaged by Hurricane Helene and, the county is also partnering with Milligan University to construct a new disc golf course on the footprint of the former course.
