Former RN at Bristol Regional indicted for prescription drug fraud

A former registered nurse employed at Bristol Regional Medical Center is accused of stealing medication from patients as part of a TBI investigation.

Allegations of Heather Nicole Leonard, 38, stealing Oxycodone surfaced in December and the TBI joined the Food and Drug Administration’s Office of Criminal Investigations in gathering evidence and presenting it to a grand jury.

Leonard was charged with one count of prescription drug fraud and turned herself in at the Sullivan County Jail. Her bail was set at $10,000.
