Sheriff’s Office: Man fell 200 feet to his death at quarry
Investigators in Southwest Virginia determined a Pennsylvania man fell an estimated 200 feet to his death.
The preliminary report from the Sheriff’s Office said Bradley Steven Bronson, 37, of Lititz, entered the Wythe Stone Rock Quarry on Atkins Mill Road when the operation was closed. Bronson’s body was found by workers the next morning.
The incident remains under investigation. The department’s technical rope team descended into the quarry to extract Bronson’s body.
