Sullivan County Commissioners Want To Establish Entrepreneurship Program With Matching Funds

Sullivan County Commissioners are working on a resolution that would establish matching funds for a new entrepreneurship program. A Blue Ribbon Task Force is researching and promoting economic growth in the region. As part of the project, the task force developed an Entrepreneurship Program model and have secured a Launch Tennessee grant from the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development in the amount of 250 thousand dollars. County commissioners would like to authorize appropriating matching funds to be used by the Sullivan County Industrial Development Board to fund the Entrepreneurship Program.
