New App In Carter County Lets Citizens Assist Sheriff’s Department

Carter County now has a new app designed to allow users to zoom in on their neighborhood and see the last known address of suspects with active arrests warrants. The Neighborhood Cleanup app was designed in house at no additional cost to the county. There are about 15 hundred suspects with active warrants in the county and so far 12 hundred names have been uploaded to the new app. The app is now available on Android devices and on the Carter County Sheriffs Office.
