Mount Carmel Taxpayers Facing 29 Cent Property Tax Increase

Thursday night, members of the Mount Carmel Board of Mayor and Alderman approved on first reading next years budget, which comes with a 29 cent property tax increase for taxpayers. The board will hold a budget workshop next Thursday to further discuss the spending document before its voted on for a final reading.
